I have an appetite for learning and throughout my professional career I have always searched for better ways to strengthen pupils’ literacy skills. Too often, struggling learners fall through the education cracks; it’s not okay and it’s not fair.

With almost forty years of experience in educational school settings, I now teach privately and mentor parents to understand how they can best help their children reach their highest, reading potential.

After witnessing the impact my teaching has had upon the families I supported, and the amazing changes in students’ well-being, I wanted to make this available to any families in need.

I have spent my professional life pursuing further training and refining my skills in order to follow my passion; the teaching of literacy. I strongly believe that the vast majority of learners, if taught correctly, will learn to read, write and spell. I can do this for your child.
